Reorder stops on a route

Manual stop ordering plus route optimization.

Route order matters: a small reorder can save real drive time across a full service day. PoolStamp gives you two ways to set order — manual drag-and-drop and route optimization.

Algorithm-driven (default)

When you add customers to a route plan, PoolStamp keeps the selected stop list and can optimize the order when you tap Optimize route.

The optimizer uses customer coordinates and an optional starting location when one is saved on the route.

Manual drag-and-drop

In the web admin route planner, drag any stop up or down in the list and save the order. Mobile uses the saved route order when the tech opens the day.

Fixed appointments

PoolStamp does not yet support pinned stops or hard time-window constraints. If a customer has to be first, drag that stop into position manually and save.

What about traffic?

Routes up to Mapbox's coordinate limit can use Mapbox optimization when Mapbox is configured.

Larger supported routes use Mapbox Matrix plus a nearest-neighbor and 2-opt pass. If Mapbox is unavailable, PoolStamp can fall back to OSRM or straight-line distance ordering.

Treat route times as estimates, especially in dense traffic.
