Build your first route plan

PoolStamp orders your stops by drive time and gives you turn-by-turn nav.

Build your first route plan

A route plan is a day's worth of customer stops, ordered for minimum driving. PoolStamp builds one in seconds using your customers' addresses and a routing engine (Mapbox by default; OSRM as fallback).

From web

  1. Routes → New route plan
  2. Set the date (defaults to tomorrow)
  3. Pick the stops — either tap individual customers or pick Auto-fill from cadence to pull every customer due that day
  4. Tap Optimize — PoolStamp re-orders the stops to minimize total drive time
  5. Tap Save — the route is now visible to the assigned tech on the mobile app

From mobile

Same flow, slightly more thumb-friendly. Routes tab → + to start a new plan.

Auto-fill from cadence

If you set a service cadence on a customer (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly), PoolStamp can populate the route automatically — just tap Auto-fill from cadence when creating the plan and we'll add every customer due that day.

Reordering

After optimization, you can still drag stops to override the order — e.g., to put a difficult customer earlier in the day, or to group two adjacent stops together.

Navigation

Once a tech taps the first stop on their phone, PoolStamp offers turn-by-turn directions through Apple Maps or Google Maps (whichever the tech prefers — set in Settings).

Route plan vs schedule

A route plan is one day's stops. The schedule is the recurring pattern (weekly, etc.) that drives auto-fill. You can edit either independently.
