The receipt is the artifact your customer sees after every visit. It's the strongest marketing channel PoolStamp ships. A few knobs let you shape it without touching a template.
Header (business identity)
- Logo — square or wordmark, PNG or SVG. Upload from Settings → Business Profile → Logo.
- Business name and phone — pulled from your profile. Update once, applies everywhere.
- Accent color — the default Deep Teal is on-brand, but you can override in Settings → Receipts → Accent color. Aim for high contrast against white.
Body sections (opt-in)
Every section is on by default and can be toggled off in Settings → Receipts → Sections:
- Chemistry readings — off by default; internal-only unless you turn this on.
- Photos — up to 6 thumbnails, linking to the customer portal for full-size.
- Repair items — items flagged during the visit with severity + estimate.
- Chemicals used — the itemized dosing list.
Footer
- Custom footer message — 240 chars, appears above the "See more visits" link. Use it for seasonal reminders ("Pool covers 10% off through October") or business notes.
- Pay Now button — auto-inserted when the visit has a Stripe payment link. Toggle in Settings → Payments → Show Pay Now on receipt.
Language
Each customer's language field drives the receipt language. Setting it in the customer profile (or letting the app pick it up during signup) translates every visible string automatically — no per-template work.
Preview before sending
Every visit's check-out screen has a Preview receipt link that opens the actual HTML your customer will see. Verify tone and layout on a real device before rolling out a big change.
