The proof-of-service receipt

What every customer sees within 60 seconds of you tapping Complete.

The proof-of-service receipt

This is the single most important piece of communication PoolStamp sends. Every visit you complete triggers one of these — by default, to both email and SMS (if the customer has a phone on file). It's the proof in proof-of-service.

What's in it

A standard receipt includes, top to bottom:

  1. Your business name as the masthead (yours, not PoolStamp's)
  2. Greeting with the customer's first name
  3. Visit summary — date, time, address, GPS-stamped check-in
  4. Map link — opens the location in Google Maps if the customer wants to see exactly where you parked
  5. Chemicals added — the list with amounts
  6. Photos — thumbnails inline, tap any to view full-size
  7. Repair items — if any, with their status
  8. Notes — anything you typed during the visit
  9. Pay now button (if Stripe connected) — green CTA above the portal link
  10. View visit history button — opens the customer portal (no login)
  11. Footer — small "Sent by Your Business via PoolStamp"

Send timing

The receipt sends within 60 seconds of you tapping Complete, regardless of network conditions on your phone — the visit syncs to the server first, then the server sends the email. So even if your phone is offline at the moment of completion, the receipt still goes out as soon as your phone reaches signal.

Customizing

For launch, you can customize:

Logo upload, custom colors, and a custom email domain are on the Phase 2 roadmap.

What customers do with it

Customer reply rate to receipts averages 4–6% in pilot — usually a "thanks, the pool looks great" or a question about a chemical or repair. Replies go directly to your business email, so the customer-tech relationship stays direct.

Re-sending a receipt

Web dashboard → Visits → click the visit → Re-send receipt. The customer gets the same email again.
