Removing a customer from PoolStamp is a soft delete. The customer disappears from active workflows, but the record is retained so service history and audit context are not destroyed by accident.
Archive a customer
In the customer's record, use the remove/archive action. Archived customers:
- No longer appear in the active Customers list or route planner
- Keep all their visit history visible from the Archived filter
- Can be unarchived at any time
This is the recommended way to handle customers who stopped service. The history stays available for tax season and for any future re-engagement.
Restore an archived customer
Open the archived customer list and reactivate the customer. PoolStamp clears the archive timestamp and returns the customer to the active list.
Bulk archive or delete
Bulk permanent delete is not exposed in the launch product. Treat removals as archive/restore unless support confirms a formal deletion workflow for a specific request.
Privacy requests
If a customer submits a formal data-deletion request (GDPR / CCPA-style), contact support instead of promising permanent deletion from the in-app archive action.
