Delete or archive a customer

Permanently remove a customer or hide them from the active list.

There are two ways to remove a customer from your active workflow: archive (hides them but preserves history) and delete (removes everything permanently).

Archive a customer

In the customer's record, scroll to the bottom and tap Archive customer. Archived customers:

This is the recommended way to handle customers who stopped service. The history stays available for tax season and for any future re-engagement.

Delete a customer permanently

Use Delete customer only when you genuinely need the record gone — for example, a customer requesting deletion under a privacy law, or a duplicate record created by accident.

Deletion is permanent and cascades. When you delete a customer, PoolStamp permanently removes:

This cannot be undone. If you might want the data back, archive instead of delete.

Bulk archive or delete

The web admin's Customers list supports multi-select for bulk archive. Bulk delete is not exposed in the launch product — you'd need to delete one at a time, which is intentional friction.

Privacy requests

If a customer submits a formal data-deletion request (GDPR / CCPA-style), use Delete customer and reply to the customer confirming the deletion. PoolStamp logs the deletion in an audit trail you can produce if a regulator asks.
