The CSV importer accepts exports from Jobber, Housecall Pro, GorillaDesk, Skimmer, QuickBooks, or any spreadsheet with standard customer columns. When you upload, PoolStamp maps known headers and asks you to confirm anything ambiguous.
Required destination fields
- Name — any of "Name", "Customer", "Account", "First Name" + "Last Name".
- Service address — any of "Service Address", "Address", "Property Address".
If the CSV has address parts split across columns, PoolStamp combines them into the service address used for routing.
Optional fields the importer picks up
- Email — mapped from "Email", "Email Address", or "Primary Email".
- Phone — first phone-shaped column wins; strips punctuation.
- Language — accepts
en,es,english, spanish, español. - Notes — mapped from "Notes", "Comments", or "Internal Notes".
Rows that fail to import
Rows without a name or address are skipped and reported at the end of the import. Fix the CSV and re-upload the corrected rows.
Duplicates
Duplicate detection checks existing customer emails first. If you re-run an import with the same email, PoolStamp skips that row instead of duplicating the customer.
After import
Every imported customer is geocoded during import when possible. Route planning works best after addresses have latitude/longitude; fix failed addresses in the customer record and save again.
