Reset your password
If you forgot your password, PoolStamp emails you a reset link. If you remember the old password and just want to change it, you can do that from settings.
Forgot password
- From any PoolStamp sign-in screen (web or mobile), tap Forgot password?
- Enter the email you signed up with
- Tap Send reset link
- Check your email — a "Reset your PoolStamp password" message arrives within a minute
- Tap the Reset password button in the email
- Set a new password (8+ characters) and confirm
- Sign in with the new password
The reset link expires in 1 hour. If you wait too long, request a new one.
Don't see the email?
- Check spam / junk
- Wait 60 seconds — SendGrid sometimes throttles
- Make sure you typed the email you actually signed up with (we silently return success even if the email isn't in our system, to prevent account enumeration). If unsure, try Contact support — we can look up your account
Change a known password
- Sign in to app.poolstamp.com
- Settings → Security → Change password
- Enter the current password, then the new one twice
- Tap Update password
You stay signed in after a password change. Your active sessions on other devices stay signed in too — to log them out, see "Sign out other devices" below.
Sign out other devices
Settings → Security → Active sessions → Sign out all other devices.
Every device except the one you're currently on gets booted to the sign-in screen. Useful if you lose a phone or suspect someone has access.
Trouble with Google / Apple sign-in
If you signed up with Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple, you don't have a password — there's nothing to reset. Just sign in with the same Google/Apple account you used originally.
If you need to add a password to a Google/Apple-only account, Settings → Security → Add password lets you set one.
