Delete your account
Account deletion closes your PoolStamp account, signs out every active session, cancels active billing when Stripe is reachable, and hides your business data from normal product use.
What "deletion" means
- Your operator account is soft-deleted
- Your active customer records are hidden from normal product use
- Your sessions are revoked so the account stops working immediately
- Visits, photos, invoices, route plans, and other service records are retained during the reactivation window
- QuickBooks Online records are not deleted. Disconnect QBO before deletion if you want to clean up the QBO side; you still need to delete those records inside QuickBooks
- Stripe records of past payments are not deleted (Stripe retains those for tax / regulatory reasons)
- Your team members lose access immediately
- Your account email cannot be reused during the reactivation window
How to delete
- Sign in to app.poolstamp.com
- Settings → Account → Delete account
- Re-enter your password to confirm
- Type the word DELETE in the confirmation box
- Tap Delete account
- You get a confirmation email (in case it wasn't you), then you're signed out
Before deleting
- Export your data first: Reports → Export → All customers / visits / invoices (CSV). Save it somewhere safe
- Export your data first — deletion immediately removes normal account access
- Check your Stripe subscription after deletion if Stripe was unavailable during the cancellation attempt
- Disconnect QBO if you want to clean up the QBO side too
Recovering a deleted account
You can reactivate a deleted account for 90 days by signing in with the same email and password and following the reactivation prompt. After 90 days, self-serve reactivation is no longer offered.
GDPR / CCPA requests
If you need a formal data-portability export or a "right to be forgotten" deletion (different from the in-app delete), reply to a PoolStamp email or use Contact support with the subject "GDPR request" or "CCPA request". We'll respond within the legal window (30 days GDPR, 45 days CCPA).
