Delete your account
Account deletion in PoolStamp is permanent. Once you confirm, all of your customers, visits, photos, invoices, route plans, and team members are removed from our database within 30 days.
What "deletion" means
- All customer records you created are deleted
- All visits, chemical readings, and notes are deleted
- All photos in Cloudflare R2 are deleted from object storage
- All invoices are deleted from PoolStamp's database — but the matching records in QuickBooks Online are NOT deleted. Disconnect QBO before deletion if you want to also wipe the QBO side (you'd need to delete those by hand in QBO; we don't have permission to delete QBO data on disconnect)
- Stripe records of past payments are not deleted (Stripe retains those for tax / regulatory reasons)
- Your team members lose access immediately
- Your account email is freed up — you could re-sign-up with the same email later, fresh
How to delete
- Sign in to app.poolstamp.com
- Settings → Account → Delete account
- Re-enter your password to confirm
- Type the word DELETE in the confirmation box
- Tap Permanently delete my account
- You get a confirmation email (in case it wasn't you), then you're signed out
Before deleting
- Export your data first: Reports → Export → All customers / visits / invoices (CSV). Save it somewhere safe
- Cancel your Stripe subscription if you have one — deletion does not auto-cancel billing
- Disconnect QBO if you want to clean up the QBO side too
Recovering a deleted account
You cannot recover a deleted account or its data after 30 days. If you change your mind within 30 days, reply to the deletion confirmation email and we can restore it. After 30 days, the data is purged from backups too.
GDPR / CCPA requests
If you need a formal data-portability export or a "right to be forgotten" deletion (different from the in-app delete), reply to a PoolStamp email or use Contact support with the subject "GDPR request" or "CCPA request". We'll respond within the legal window (30 days GDPR, 45 days CCPA).
