Why most pools are out of balance
The math is harder than the label makes it look.
Pool chemistry has a narrow target window.
The CDC recommends free chlorine between 1–3 ppm and pH between 7.2–7.8. Most test strips have a margin of error of ±0.2–0.5 ppm. The gap between "safe" and "off" is smaller than the label math suggests.
Pool operators consistently flag over-chlorination as the most frequent homeowner error. Too much chlorine doesn't help. It causes skin irritation, red eyes, liner bleaching, and equipment corrosion.
Product labels give dosing rates per 10,000 gallons. A 15,000-gallon pool needs 1.5× that, adjusted for your current readings. If you're estimating, you're probably over-adding. AquaDose does this math for you.

Built for homeowners, not pool techs. Under-dose margins that keep you from over-treating, with retest prompts after every completed treatment.
Questions
Straight answers.
How does it know how much to add?
It uses your actual test readings and pool volume, not generic label math, to calculate safety-gated, volume-adjusted amounts for chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and stabilizer.
What test kits work with it?
Any standard test kit or test strip works. Enter your readings manually and AquaDose handles the rest.
Does it work with saltwater pools?
Yes. AquaDose works with both traditional chlorine and saltwater pools. The dosing automatically adjusts for a salt chlorine generator, including separate targets for chlorine, pH, alkalinity, stabilizer, and salt level.
What if I don’t know my exact pool volume?
AquaDose has a built-in volume calculator. Enter your pool’s shape, length, width, and depth and it estimates your gallons.
